  Today’s journey takes you to three significant biblical locations. Explore the magnificent Acropolis of Pergamon, one of the greatest cities of the ancient world and home to one of the Seven Churches of Revelation. Continue to Smyrna, where you’ll walk through the remains of its historic Agora, reflecting on the faithfulness of the early Christians. The day concludes at Thyateira, another of the Seven Churches, where you’ll discover the historical remains that testify to the endurance of the early Church.

• Walking Where the Apostles Walked

  Experience one of the world’s most spectacular archaeological treasures as you explore the ancient city of Ephesus. Wander through its marble streets, grand theaters, temples, and the iconic Library of Celsus, imagining life during the time of the Apostle Paul. Continue to the Basilica of Saint John, traditionally recognized as the burial place of the Apostle John. Before returning to your hotel, visit a local leather factory for a presentation and shopping opportunity.

• Exploring the Heart of Early Christianity

  Today’s pilgrimage continues through four remarkable biblical destinations. Visit Sardis, the once-prosperous capital of the ancient Lydian Kingdom and one of the Seven Churches of Revelation.
