Itinerary

DAY 1: MONDAY 19 OCTARRIVAL IN ISRAEL – JOPPA – CAESAREA MARITIMA

  • Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport via Emirates Flight EK2120 at 8:45AM. After immigration and meeting our guide, we begin our pilgrimage with a visit to Biblical Joppa (Jaffa), the ancient port city where Peter received the vision that opened the Gospel to the Gentiles and where Jonah departed before fleeing from God’s calling.
  • We continue north along the Mediterranean coast to Caesarea Maritima, the grand harbor city built by Herod the Great, where Cornelius was baptized and where Paul stood trial before Roman authorities.

DAY 2: TUESDAY 20 OCTMEGIDDO – MT. PRECIPICE – NAZARETH VILLAGE – CANA

  • After breakfast, we travel to Megiddo, one of Solomon’s fortified cities and the biblical site overlooking the Valley of Armageddon, where the final battle of the nations is prophesied to occur.
  • We continue to Mount Precipice, traditionally believed to be the place where the people of Nazareth attempted to throw Jesus off the cliff after rejecting His teaching.
  • We then visit Nazareth Village for a unique first-century experience that brings the world of Jesus to life through reconstructed homes, vineyards, and daily village life. Afterwards, we proceed to Cana where couples may renew their marriage vows at the traditional site of Jesus’ first miracle — the turning of water into wine. Return to Tiberias for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: WEDNESDAY 21 OCTSEA OF GALILEE – CAPERNAUM – YARDENIT

  • Today we focus on the ministry of Jesus around the Sea of Galilee. We begin with a worshipful Boat Ride across the lake while singing praises and reflecting on the miracles performed on these waters. We then visit the ancient Boat Museum where the famous “Jesus Boat” from the first century is displayed. We continue to Capernaum, known as the “Town of Jesus,” where He taught and performed many miracles. At the Mount of Beatitudes, we remember the Sermon on the Mount overlooking the Sea of Galilee.
  • We visit Tabgha, commemorating the feeding of the 5,000, and Peter’s Primacy, where Jesus restored Peter and commanded him to “Feed My Sheep.” Our day concludes at Yardenit, the traditional baptismal site on the Jordan River, where pilgrims may choose to be baptized or rededicate themselves spiritually. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.

DAY 4: THURSDAY 22 OCTBEIT SHEAN – JERICHO – DEAD SEA

  • After breakfast, we depart Galilee and journey south to Beit Shean, one of the best-preserved Roman cities in Israel and one of the Decapolis cities during biblical times.
  • We continue to Jericho, considered the oldest inhabited city in the world and the place associated with Joshua, Zacchaeus, and Bartimaeus.
  • We view the Mount of Temptation where Jesus fasted for forty days. Afterwards, we proceed to the Dead Sea region and check in to our hotel. Guests may enjoy the unique experience of floating in the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea or relaxing at the spa facilities. Dinner and overnight at the Dead Sea.

DAY 5: FRIDAY 23 OCTMASADA – QUMRAN – JERUSALEM

  • This morning we visit Masada, the dramatic mountaintop fortress built by Herod the Great overlooking the Dead Sea, and the site of the Jewish Zealots’ final resistance against Rome in A.D. 73. We then proceed to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered — one of the most important archaeological finds related to the Bible.
  • Afterwards, we ascend to Jerusalem, the Holy City, and check in to our hotel for the next several nights. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

DAY 6: SATURDAY 24 OCTMOUNT OF OLIVES – VIA DOLOROSA – OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM

  • We begin the day at the Mount of Olives with a breathtaking panoramic view of Jerusalem. We walk down the Palm Sunday Road, stopping at Dominus Flevit Church where Jesus wept over the city. At the foot of the mountain, we visit the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations, where Jesus prayed before His arrest. Entering the Old City through Lion’s Gate, we walk portions of the Via Dolorosa beginning at the Pools of Bethesda and Anne’s Church, then pass through Antonia Fortress and continue to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, traditionally recognized as the site of Jesus’ crucifixion, burial, and resurrection.
  • We conclude the day with time at the Western Wall and shopping within the Old City bazaars before returning to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

DAY 7:SUNDAY 25 OCTTEMPLE MOUNT – MT. ZION – SOUTHERN STEPS – WESTERN WALL TUNNEL

After breakfast, we make an early visit to the Temple Mount, the sacred platform where the Jewish Temples once stood. We revisit the Western Wall before proceeding to Mount Zion to visit the Upper Room, traditionally associated with the Last Supper and Pentecost. We also see King David’s Tomb

Continuing through the Jewish Quarter, we explore the ancient Cardo and visit the Temple Institute, dedicated to preserving the history and preparation for future Temple worship. We then visit the Southern Steps and Davidson Center, where Jesus likely taught pilgrims entering the Temple courts.

In the evening, we experience the fascinating Western Wall Tunnel tour, revealing underground sections of the ancient retaining walls from the Second Temple period. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

DAY 8: MONDAY 26 OCTGARDEN TOMB – FRIENDS OF ZION MUSEUM – YAD VASHEM – DEPARTURE

  • We check out of the hotel and begin our final day at the peaceful Garden Tomb for a communion and worship service, reflecting on the resurrection hope of Christ. We continue to the Friends of Zion Museum, highlighting Christian support and friendship toward the Jewish people throughout history. Afterwards, we visit Yad Vashem, Israel’s Holocaust Memorial Museum, for a solemn remembrance of the victims and survivors of the Holocaust.
