The tour includes private transfers and transportation throughout the journey, accommodations in carefully selected 4-star hotels, and full board meals consisting of breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. All tours as detailed in the itinerary are covered, including entrance fees and the services of local English-speaking guides. Visa processing and border fees are included, along with tips and gratuities, travel and medical insurance, a travel kit, and a pre-tour briefing. The pilgrimage will be hosted by a pastor from an evangelical church and will be fully assisted by a professional Tour Director from High Light Tours.

Itinerary

DAY 1: Sun 06 Sept / Sat 11 OctARRIVAL IN AMMAN

  • Arrive at Queen Alia International Airport and meet your local representative. Transfer to your hotel in Amman for rest and acclimatization after your international journey.

DAY 2: Mon 07 Sept / Sun 12 OctAMMAN – PETRA – AMMAN

  • Depart early for a full-day visit to Petra, the legendary Nabatean city carved into rose-colored stone. Walk through the dramatic Siq and behold the iconic Treasury (Al-Khazneh), followed by exploration of tombs, temples, and ancient streets. Return to Amman in the evening.

DAY 3: Tue 08 Sept / Mon 13 OctMT. NEBO – JERASH – SHEIKH HUSSEIN CROSSING – TIBERIAS

  • Visit Mount Nebo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land before his death. Continue to Jerash, one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the world. Proceed to the Sheikh Hussein Border Crossing into Israel, then travel to the Sea of Galilee region.

    • Join-in: Israel-Only (arrival Tel Aviv to Tiberias) meeting, assistance and transfers

DAY 4: Wed 09 Sept / Tue 14 OctCAPERNAUM – PETER’S PRIMACY – MAGDALA – BOAT RIDE

  • Explore Capernaum, Jesus’ ministry base, including the ancient synagogue and St. Peter’s house. Visit Peter’s Primacy, recalling Christ’s call to leadership and service.
  • Continue to Magdala, hometown of Mary Magdalene, then enjoy a reflective boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, recalling Gospel scenes of calling, teaching, and miracles.

DAY 5: Thu 10 Sept / Wed 15 OctCANA OR NAZARETH VILLAGE – MEGIDDO – MUHRAKA – CAESAREA – JERUSALEM

  • Visit Cana, site of Jesus’ first miracle, with the option to renew wedding vows, or experience daily life in biblical times at Nazareth Village.
  • Continue to Megiddo (Armageddon), Muhraka associated with the prophet Elijah, and Caesarea Maritima, Herod’s great Roman port. Travel south to Jerusalem.

DAY 6: Fri 11 Sept / Thu 16 OctMOUNT OF OLIVES – PALM SUNDAY ROAD – GETHSEMANE – BETHLEHEM

  • Begin on the Mount of Olives with panoramic views of Jerusalem. Walk the Palm Sunday Road, visit the Garden of Gethsemane, then continue to Bethlehem to see the Church of the Nativity and Shepherds’ Field.

DAY 7: Sat 12 Sept / Fri 17 OctISRAEL MUSEUM – MT. ZION – YAD VASHEM – GARDEN TOMB

  • Visit the Israel Museum, including the Shrine of the Book and the model of ancient Jerusalem. Continue to Mount Zion, site of the Upper Room and Tomb of King David.
  • Pay respects at Yad Vashem, then conclude the day at the peaceful Garden Tomb.

DAY 8: Sun 13 Sept / Sat 18 OctOLD CITY JERUSALEM – VIA DOLOROSA • HOLY SEPULCHRE DUNG GATE – WESTERN WALL – VIA DOLOROSA – HOLY SEPULCHRE

  • Enter through Dung Gate, visit the Western Wall, and walk the Via Dolorosa, retracing Christ’s path to Calvary. End at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, marking the sites of Crucifixion and Resurrection.

DAY 9: Mon 14 Sept / Sun 19 OctJORDAN RIVER – EN GEDI – MASADA – DEAD SEA – QASR AL-YEHUD

  • Visit Qasr Al-Yehud, the traditional baptism site on the Jordan River. Continue to En Gedi, where David hid from King Saul, then ascend Masada, Herod’s desert fortress and symbol of perseverance. End the day floating in the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth.

DAY 10: Tue 15 Sept / Mon 20 OctDEAD SEA – TABA BORDER – ST. CATHERINE

  • Depart early and cross the border at Taba into Egypt. Travel through the Sinai Peninsula to St. Catherine, nestled at the foot of Mount Sinai.
    • Exit: Israel-Only Transfer to airport for flight home
    • Exit: Jordan–Israel Transfer to airport for flight home

DAY 11: Wed 16 Sept / Tue 21 OctMOUNT SINAI & JOURNEY TO CAIRO MT SINAI SUNRISE • EXODUS ROUTE • CAIRO

  • Before dawn, begin the ascent of Mount Sinai, traditionally believed to be where Moses received the Ten Commandments. Witness sunrise from the mountain before descending for breakfast. Afterward, pass through sites associated with the Exodus, including Meriba and Mara, then continue onward to Cairo.

DAY 12: Thu 17 Sept / Wed 22 OctPYRAMIDS – GRAND EGYPTIAN MUSEUM

  • Visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, among the greatest architectural achievements in human history. Continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to unparalleled ancient treasures.

DAY 13: Fri 18 Sept / Thu 23 OctOLD CAIRO –FLIGHT HOME

  • Explore Old Cairo, including early Christian sites and historic quarters. Transfer to the airport for your flight home—carrying memories that span Scripture, civilizations, and continents.
    • Final Exit: Jordan–Israel–Egypt
