From April 13-26, 2027, embark on a meaningful Church Heritage journey across Europe, tracing the footsteps of the Reformers who shaped Christian history.

Walk through Prague, Berlin, Wittenberg, Strasbourg, and Zurich, where faith was boldly proclaimed and lives were transformed. Discover the legacy of Martin Luther, Jan Hus, and other leaders whose courage continues to inspire believers today.

More than a historical tour, this is a time for spiritual reflection and renewal, set against the beauty of Europe’s cities and landscapes.

Not included in the package:

The tour package does not include passport fees, Schengen visa fees (approximately PHP 12,000 per person), beverages during meals, porterage, and personal expenses such as additional meals, mini-bar charges, phone calls, internet usage, laundry services, and shopping expenses. Any other items or services not specifically stated as included in the package shall be for the participant’s own account.

Itinerary

Day 01: TUESDAY, 13 APRILDEPARTURE FROM MANILA

Depart Manila aboard Qatar Airways for your overnight flight to Prague via Doha. Flight: QR 933 Manila – Doha 1835 / 2305 Overnight onboard.

Day 02: WEDNESDAY, 14 APRILARRIVAL IN PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC

Connect in Doha and continue to Prague. Flight: QR 289 Doha – Prague 0150 / 0700 Upon arrival, meet your guide and begin an orientation tour of Prague.

Visit Bethlehem Chapel, where Jan Hus preached and inspired the Czech reform movement.

Continue to Old Town Square, the Astronomical Clock, and Charles Bridge before transferring to your hotel.

Day 03: THURSDAY, 15 APRILPRAGUE EXCURSIONS

Prague Reformation Heritage Explore Prague’s religious and historical landmarks including Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, Golden Lane, and Nerudova Street. Learn about the influence of Jan Hus and the early reform movement that helped shape Protestant Christianity.

Day 04: FRIDAY, 16 APRILPRAGUE – TÁBOR – TORGAU – BERLIN

Depart Prague and travel south to Tábor, the historic center of the Hussite movement founded by followers of Jan Hus in the fifteenth century.

Visit:

  • Hussite Museum – showcasing the history, theology, and military campaigns of the Hussite movement
  • Old Town Square of Tábor – one of the best-preserved medieval town centers in the Czech Republic
  • Brief orientation to the legacy of Jan Žižka and the Hussite Wars
  • Continue into Germany with a stop in Torgau, one of the earliest Lutheran centers of the Reformation.

Visit:

  • Hartenfels Castle Chapel – consecrated by Martin Luther and considered the first Protestant church building
  • St. Mary’s Church – an important civic and religious center during the Reformation

Proceed to Berlin for check-in.

Travel Time:
Prague to Tábor: approximately 1.5 hours
Tábor to Torgau: approximately 3.5–4 hours
Torgau to Berlin: approximately 2 hours

Day 05: SATURDAY, 17 APRILBERLIN: GERMAN REFORMATION AND THE HUGUENOTS

Berlin Protestant Heritage

Discover Berlin’s Protestant heritage through visits to the Berlin Cathedral, a symbol of German Protestantism, and the Huguenot Museum, which tells the story of French Protestants who sought refuge in Prussia after fleeing religious persecution.

Continue to Gendarmenmarkt, one of Berlin’s most significant historic squares, and learn how Protestant communities contributed to the city’s development.

Day 06: SUNDAY 18, APRILEXCURSION to WITTENBERG

Travel to Wittenberg, the birthplace of the Protestant Reformation. Visit the historic Castle Church, where Martin Luther posted his Ninety-Five Theses in 1517, sparking a movement that transformed Christianity.

Continue to St. Mary’s Church, where Luther regularly preached, and walk through the historic town center where many defining moments of the Reformation took place. Return to Berlin.

Approximately 1.5 hours each way

Day 07: MONDAY, 19 APRILBERLIN - LEIPZIG

Travel to Leipzig, a city closely connected to both the Reformation and Lutheran church music. Visit St. Thomas Church, where Johann Sebastian Bach served as cantor, and learn about the famous Leipzig Debate of 1519, where Martin Luther defended his teachings against Johann Eck.

Explore the city’s historic center and Market Square before checking into your hotel.

Day 08: TUESDAY, 20 APRILERFURT AND WARTBURG CASTLE

Journey into the heart of Luther Country. Visit the Augustinian Monastery in Erfurt, where Martin Luther lived as a monk and began his theological studies. Continue to Wartburg Castle in Eisenach, where Luther found refuge after the Diet of Worms and translated the New Testament into German, making Scripture accessible to ordinary people. Return to Leipzig.

Leipzig to Erfurt: approximately 1.5 hours
Erfurt to Wartburg Castle: approximately 1 hour
Return to Leipzig: approximately 1.5 hours

Day 09: WEDNESDAY, 21 APRILLEIPZIG -SPEYER - ILLKIRCH, FRANCE

Travel south through Germany toward the Rhine Valley. Stop in Speyer and visit the impressive Speyer Cathedral, one of Germany’s most important religious monuments and the site of the 1529 Protestation of Speyer, from which the term “Protestant” originated.

Continue across the French border to the Strasbourg region.

Travel Time:
Leipzig to Speyer: approximately 4–5 hours
Speyer to Illkirch: approximately 2 hours

Day 10: THURSDAY, 22 APRILEXCURSION TO STRASBOURG

After breakfast, take an excursion to Strasbourg.

Explore Strasbourg, one of the leading centers of the Reformation in France. Visit St. Thomas Church, associated with reformer Martin Bucer, and Strasbourg Cathedral, which reflects the city’s unique religious history. Learn how Strasbourg became an important bridge between the German and Swiss reform movements while enjoying time in the historic city center.

Travel Time:
Illkirch to Strasbourg approximately 15–20 minutes

Day 11: FRIDAY, 23 APRILILLKIRCH - CONSTANCE – WALLISELEN, SWITZERLAND

Travel to Constance, located on the shores of Lake Constance. Visit the cathedral and sites associated with the Council of Constance, where Jan Hus was tried and executed in 1415. Reflect on the events that helped shape the future of church reform before continuing into Switzerland. Arrive in the Zurich region and check into your hotel in Wallisellen.

Travel Time:
Illkirch to Constance: approximately 2.5 hours
Constance to Wallisellen: approximately 1 hour

Day 12: SATURDAY, 24 APRILZURICH AND THE SWISS REFORMATION

Discover Zurich’s central role in the Swiss Reformation. Visit the Grossmünster, where Huldrych Zwingli preached and introduced reforms that reshaped the Swiss church. Continue to the Fraumünster and Zurich’s Old Town before enjoying free time along Bahnhofstrasse or the shores of Lake Zurich.

Travel Time: Wallisellen to Zurich city center approximately 15–20 mins

Day 13: SUNDAY, 25 APRILDEPARTURE FROM ZURICH

Free time before check out. Transfer to Zurich Airport for your return flight to Manila via Doha. Flight: QR 096 Zurich – Doha | 1640 / 2325 Overnight onboard.

Day 14: MONDAY 26 APRILARRIVE HOME

Continue your journey from Doha to Manila. Flight: QR 932 Doha – Manila | 0230 / 1630

Arrive in Manila with a deeper appreciation for the people, places, and events that shaped the Protestant Reformation and influenced Christian history around the world.
